Such a simple little tool, but makes such a difference. I am still using the first one I took out of the package and it cuts the foil perfectly every time. I twist it around the bottle for 6 counts and the foil is perfectly cut and pops right off. I love that it has two tiny magnets on the back so that I can put it on the side of my refrigerator and I don't have to dig through a basket or drawer for it. I have high hopes that these will last me for quite a while seeing as there are 4 in the pack, but for the price point it wouldn't be a terrible expense to have to replace them if needed sooner than hoped for and I already feel that I have gotten my money's worth.

I now have a lifetime supply of foil cutters. These cut quickly and efficiently. My original cutter was very similar to these and lasted for many years. When it broke I was not able to find a similar style locally and bought one with fixed cutters instead of cutter wheels. That one was worthless and lasted only a short time. These have the cutter wheels and work easily and cleanly. Would not hesitate to buy again, except with four in a package, I probably will have enough for many more years.

4 Pack Wine Foil Cutters - Six Ninety Nine. I've used many different types of foilers (foil removers) for wine and this horseshoe type is definitely the best. I was gifted one with a bottle of wine and finally after a few years it broke, so I bought this pack, not being able to find a single one for a comparable price. So far it works great, and I've been using the same one from this pack for a few months, no signs of dulling, bending, or breaking. I plan to give the extras to people when I give wine as a gift so that they know how great these foilers are, too! Because one is enough for several years I would say. I'd probably avoid putting these in the dishwasher though, but don't actually have experience doing that. I just try not to chance cheap metals and plastic in the DW if there's not a significant need to. Great buy!

I was surprised that they worked so well when I tried them. They look flimsy. And it didn’t even look like they had a cutter, but sure enough, they work great. They don’t work as well on some European wine bottles that seem to have a slightly wider than normal neck. But even on those, they still work, you just have to try cutting it a couple of times to get through the lead foil in the right place.

Easy to use, effective, magnetic version is good for sticking to the fridge when not in use.
