I am not a guitarist but bought this book because I have every other publication on Zappa. I tried out the melody lines on the piano and sang the words which was fun especially when trying to get the timing right. I can see how valuable this book must be to musicians who want to play Zappa's music. It is also beautifully presented so full marks to Hal Leonard Corporation. Freak Out! It's great being able to play all the riffs from Apostrophe, but some of the solos have such intricate rhythms that they are pretty much impossible to reproduce unless you are exceptionally gifted.The transcriptions are very accurate and the book is printed on high quality paper. If you'e a Zappa fan then this, and all the other Hal Leonard Zappa tab books, are a must.

I've been a fan of Frank Zappa for quite some time, and these transcriptions provide an opportunity to test my chops against one of the most innovative musicians/composers of the modern era.
