The product shown and described has “3 hole grip[s]”. However, the product I received has 100% fewer hole grips; see included image. The advertised hole grips contributed greatly to the purchase decision. The ratio of ‘received hole grips’ to ‘advertised hole grips’ is directly proportional to my satisfaction. Thus, I am completely unsatisfied. The product’s color difference has no impact to this rating.

Good price, fair quality. But here's the issue that I have: I ordered six plates, received 2 shipments with three plates each. That would have been fine, but the plates were clearly of different qualities. The only reason I'm not returning the three lower-quality plates is because I'm only using them to weigh down some equipment.

I bought the same 2x10 pounds plates for 15 bucks total (previously), but it's listed 93 bucks here.

For the price these plates are fine. I especially like the open design and handholds for swapping plates. I was (and still am) satisfied with these, BUT did notice that I received the more roughly cast version compared to photos from other reviews (which might account for the recent price drop that finally prompted me to buy these). They still feel smooth to the touch and will not be rough on your hands, but there was a noticeable casting blemish on one of the two plates I purchased. It's really not enough to affect anything but is the main reason I dropped my score to four stars. However, I don't think you will find a better or even equal product at this price point, and if you actually notice any of these blemishes once you start your workout then it's probably not vigorous enough! These are a perfect match for the CAP Barbell  CAP Barbell Threaded Standard Bar, 1-Inch, 250-Pound Capacity, 5-Feet .

Got this at below the usual $1/lb so that was a good deal from Amazon.The quality of both the casting and paint is inconsistent though...Very similar to my existing ones from Dick’s, but those a a little tiny bit larger and marginally better quality.Will be making some extra dumbbells with these for pops, to keep him active, LOL.Overall, a good deal considering they didn’t cost 5x retail as some vultures are charging for weights here and on OfferUp, eBay, etc.Buy directly from Amazon for the best deal on fitness equipment during the corona pandemic. Resellers are acting like vultures.

25lb weights for $20 each is a great deal for weight plates (usually run at least $1 per pound) so I bought a pair.Pros:- Grip plates - holes are in perfect locations for many different exercises (one arm lifts, cross body lifts, overhead deltoid and tricep lifts, and core strengthening)- The coating is baked on, NOT PAINTED. Resistant to rust and chipping- Great size - the height of these plates and how high the barbell sits above the ground is perfect for deadlift starting position exercises.- Accurate weight - weighed both - both weighed in at 25lb +/- 0.2lb- Fits standard sized barbell/dumbbell with interior hole size of 1-1/8 inI only have one real con - the size of internal hole - this is where the patience comes in. I purchased 2 of these weight plates, but due to issues with quality control of the sizing/reaming (the holes were just millimeters too small), it took Amazon sending me 5 weight plates for me to receive 2 that properly fit my Onmie standard barbell/dumbbell set. That being said, Amazon fulfills this product so I just called amazon and everything was handled quickly and politely. So a con of quality control, but not of the actual product when manufacturered as intended.Overall, I would recommend this product. Easy to use grip locations and excellent size for use with a barbell.

These are decent, cheap, 25-pound plate weights. I needed plate weights to help weigh down my punching bag stand (the thing would slide around after a good hit). These were the cheapest that I could find, and they look good, they're easy to carry, and they fit my punching bag stand (Everlast 4812).Some people grumbled about the boxing. Mine came in individual boxes; two were dinged up, one was okay. They're 25-pound weights in cardboard boxes; the boxes are gonna get smashed up (unless they're the perfect size for the weights; mine were not). The weights themselves were completely undamaged and unscratched. Perfect as far as I'm concerned.

I received an Olympic sized weight when purchasing a standard plate. The picture of the product showed a standard (1") weight, but I received an Olympic weight. Both the product description and the photos of the weights showed standard plates, yet I still received the incorrect product. Will be returning asap.

The CAP Barbell brand isn’t known for its qualities, but rather the inexpensive nature of its products. These Standard Grip Plates are great and fits nicely with any 1” bars. However, the thin paint tends to chip off during the first couple of sessions and the inner holes tend to be rough. Also, after weighting some of these plates, there seems to be around 5~7% weight discrepancy. That being said, this product does the job and the inexpensive Amazon shipping is amazing.

Really pleased with these weights, well made and great value. Was concerned with comments regarding poor workmanship, especially around the center hole, but the set I received had no issues at all.

I purchased 4 of these and the arrived ahead of schedule. They are rugged and appear to be well balanced once installed on the dumbell handles. They are built with cutouts in them and this makes them useful for all sorts of strength training exercises. I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought 2 of these,arrived on time but the inside is extremely rought ans sharp from bad workmanship.I had to use a file to smooth the inside so i dont cut myself.

A nice well made addition to the weights I use for BodyPump. Had one in this size now have two for my barbell. Smooth surface. Very rapid shipping.
