I work in a grooming salon and love these. The set I ordered through Andis are very plain and a little rough to work with but these are perfect! They are very smooth cutting through fur and look great!

This was just what I was looking for. This is working out great for me. I'm not a professional by no means. This is just for my schnauzer.

I wanted just a set of shears at the house to trim feet on our dog and these have been wonderful! Very sharp, cut easily, I am very happy with them!

This set really isnt that bad for the price. the thinning shears aren't sharp and seem to not work. Theres also a pair of curved for left handed people in the set. I am going to have to get all of them as sharpened. Which is costing me alot. But hopefully after that its worth it.

I'm almost embarrassed to say that I got these for a parent that just graduated cosmetology school. They are gorgeous and I didn't really read the description before giving them to her. I gave them to her when she dropped her children off, when she picked them up, she asked what the comb was for. I had to look on Amazon and actually read the description to find out that these are for animals. I was embarrassed. She said that she had been using them all day and they worked great for cutting weave and she was going to continue to use them. She said that even though, they were made for animals they work extremely well and she loves them. She just won't be using the comb.They really are beautiful and I'm sure they would work perfectly on a dog, they work great on human hair and weave. She says they are pretty sharp, cut well and feel nice in her hand.*UPDATE* The girl that I gave these to told me again how amazing these shears are. They have all been using these in the shop and all love them. She said that they used the rounded shears for a afro wig and it cut perfectly. She still loves them as does everyone in the shop.I received this product at a discount in return for my honest review.

As a non professional hair stylist, I purchased these because I have a 2 year old son whose hair grows CRAZY fast. I refuse to pay someone so frequently to cut his hair, when I do not even go. So, since he has curly hair, I figured it would be hard to mess it up.I had purchased some reasonably priced scissors at local chain store, one pair. And they sucked. I decided to up my gain with these pretty set of scissors.I used the thinning pair and straight pair last night on my son, OH MY GOODNESS the difference. These cut like a dream, at least to me. My son squirms a lot, and i usually just cut his hair while he is in the bath and distracted. It didnt take my long at all to trim all his hair.
