These are two fine releases on one cd. And now we get the missing song 'hot water' on it as well. The other release of these doesn't have that song on it!. I think that there is some really great early seventies rock on this disc. It has two hit singles the huge hit 'green eyed lady' and the minor hit 'tongue in cheek' on it. But there's a lot of great songs on here. The fantastic 'bach doors man' a prog rock thriller , along with a lot of good songs like 'rusty cloud' and 'country dawg' , and plus others. There isn't a bad song on here and the band which came from Colorado had plenty of talent to spare. The sound is good in this remaster as well. I disagree that the first release was stale. IT was as good as anything out that year imo.

Seller did their job no problem. Was disappointed in content once I listened though... not seller's fault. Check this group out closely to be sure you're getting the good stuff they played.

The 5-stars is for the overall release package, not necessarily a comment on the music. Sugarloaf is sometimes known as a 'one hit wonder' due to the Top 10 hit "Green Eyed Lady", which was horribly butchered on the 45. The follow up barely even registered in the Top 100. I've had a very tough time finding these albums on CD for the past 30 years. Their style can be considered semi-progressive + semi-psychedelic. Most of the songs are well written & performed. The 1st album is the one I really wanted, but packaging both together was a great idea & a nice bonus. Wouldn't rank these guys as "great", but they were very good & sinfully overlooked.

The package arrived in perfect condition. The CD packaging is well done. Two full albums on one CD and the digital remastering sounds great.

Of course this has green eyed lady so you can check that off the list.The rest of the cd is up to that standard - very good music and I was happy to finally be able to purchase this.

great progressive band . I liked all the great innovative instrumentals and the vocal rock songs. I was surprised. Love the long version of the single- Greeneyed Lady.

Excellent product with great sound quality.However, upon delivery there was a crack in the jewel case.This is understandable, but can be prevented with more insulated packaging.
