Excellent book, great author.
If it is tuina, this book says it all. Wholesome, informative, educative, structured. I advise to own it.

Awesomeness
This book has a prominent place on my book shelf. A true gem for anyone studying the body work therapy of Chinese medicine. This book has in depth knowledge, executed in such aN easy readable and well structured Way. Written with sincerity and respect to the ancient classical txts. Very in-depth but broken down for any laymen and beginner to understand. This book is for beginners as well as advanced practitioners and any one studying body work therapy. With emphasis around not only technique and assessments but also On sinew pathways and protocols. The first 3rd of the book is like a bible to me where I keep re reading and going over the principles and philosophy behind the art. This book gives far more than just body work.Tuina is far more than physical therapy, it goes much deeper, treating respiratory, digestive and gynecological Issues, as well as connecting with the deeper aspects of a person mind and spirit. This book is a must for not only tuina practitioners but also acupuncturists, shiatsu, soft tissue therapy and any forms of physical therapy.

Unmatched depth, clarity, and clinical utility.
As a Chinese medicine and Tui Na practitioner, this is the best book on Tui Na theory I have come across. There have been some great foundational texts written by phenomenal practitioners (Zheng Gu Tui Na by Tom Bisio and Frank Butler being one that stands out), but what is unique about this book is how deep it goes into the underlying theory of the practice of Tui Na.The sections on the sinew channels, both diagnosis/assessment and treatment, would alone make this book a necessary contribution to my library, as it beautifully integrates functional movement assessments into Chinese medicine and sinew channel theory.I highly recommend this book to any Chinese medicine practitioner, and to anyone interested in coming to an understanding of this unique medicine.
