Kiddie Cocktails

I love this book! We got it so we could make different cocktails at our Daughter's graduation party. The illustrations are perfect for the theme she is going with. This book is well thought out and easy to follow. I would definitely buy it again.

Part art book, part text book for bartending and holding your own non-alcoholic cocktail party. It hits on all aspects. I wish I had this as a kid, or had kids that were cool enough to want to throw a party like this. Instead, this will have to serve my original intention, a non-alcoholic Tiki Bar for work! The only thing that would make this hardcover book even better is if the Author and Illustrator offered a gift set version with the tools, glasses and extras needed to hold a party. The design of the book is so good for each drink, it would be great to have little signs at each drink station with the original art and ingredients.

If you enjoy retro cartoon design and color, this book is a jewel you have to discover! I have apreciated derek yaniger's art, what little I had seen, and I saw this book and the few pics on amazon intrigued me, and the reasonable price didn't hurt either. WOW! I was in heaven, drinking-in the illustrations and colors. I am an artist and I enjoy and find inspiration in this book, and although I was not looking for a book on drinks, I found that I did enjoy finding out about them aswell. Now I'm thirsty

Originally purchased for the art of Derek Yaniger, this book proved to be quite the gem when you're looking for a fun drink. Whether it's for the adults who are looking for an alcohol-free alternative or to bring something different to a child's party (or any other gathering for that matter), there are some truly great and simple recipes in here. The artwork is fantastic, and every page is saturated with it.

Well illustrated book. Very detailed with lots of additional information.This was bought as a gift for my granddaughter. Can't wait to try some of these concoctions!

The cat that dropped the scribbles and the one who strung the words together poet like are the mostest. Fine cocktails that excite the taste buds but don't give you a banger of a hangover are teriffic! Tried Several Of these potions and man they are the tops. It's like that Einstein guy met up with Picasso and opened a bar at your junior high. Dig it.

I originally bought this book, because I love retro artwork and I wanted the book for that reason. Now that I've read through it, I am going to make a lot of the recipes. They are all non-alchoholic and are great for me as I don't like alcohol. Looking forward to making the fun drinks so beautifully illustrated.

This book is even better than I imagined. I ran an activity with my Year 6s last year titled Cookie Club. Not only were my students totally pumped with the prospect of learning how to read recipes in English (and prepare delicious cookies), many of their parents personally wrote to say that they had never seen their kids so excited about English class before. Based on the success of that activity, I thought to myself "why not do something with drinks?" A quick search turned up this book, and I really have to say that the creators pulled out all the stops: from the recipes to the write-ups and the impeccable retro graphic design, it's GOLDEN. I am SOOOOOO looking forward to using this in class. THANK YOU!!!

Purchased for my niece as she loves making non alcoholic cocktails. Such a fun, vibrant book. Love it.

Used this book to make 6 cocktails for our daughters 11th birthday. Lots of fun and really nice to drink. Bit odd the American way of measuring liquid in 0zs. There is a conversion table at the back though. Will use again in the summer too.

Bought as a present to remind the children of our last holiday! Great ideas - would be nice for adults too if you add a tipple
