I have used it for many months and it is indispensable for making my Trikatu churna or Haritaki bark powder. You won't get Trikatu churna anywhere but high quality three materials are available. You have to powder them using this wonderful implement. The size and shape is just right for me. The stone mushal is heavy enough to turn any of the spices we use into powder quickly by a mix of heavy hammering and vigorous found and round grinding. One end of the mushal is broader than the other so that to pound on a small area you can reverse the mushal and create more effective blows. The stone seems to be indestructible and gives a natural feeling compared to steel. What surprises me is it's quick drying after a thorough washing. I have developed an affinity for this inert but specially effective stone object constantly reminding me of bygone era when possibly in every household this type was used. My closest finally purchased it.

Midium sized one. Got a free spoon which is perfect for the hole. good quality one.

The product is stone hard. Good enough to make chutney of your leg. Just make sure you drop from at least 5ft height.
