I love A5 paper, but didn't want to be limited to buying the Kokuyo 20-hole pre-punched stuff, as I like using notepads. This works great and is very easy to use. You *are* limited to only punching a few sheets at a time, however.

I have fallen in love with the size and paper of Japanese notebooks. I wanted the ability to print something off the computer and insert it in the notebook. This hole punch along with a ream of A5 paper allows me to use my A5 size notebook for any and everything.

While I truly enjoy the inventive functioning of the punch, it doesn't do the job for me.I purchased this punch so I could add pages into my Lilit Lab A5 Aqua Drops twist-ring binders.The registration of the holes is slightly off, so that the middle holes do not allign with the rings.Read the description carrefully. My Aqua Drops A5 notebooks have 24 holes -- and while they say that the holes are the international standard 1/3 inch pitch, it's clear that this punch does not conform to this standard.This was my 2nd bad purchase -- first I bought the A4/B5 punch before I recognized that my notebooks were A5. So, I bougt this A5/B6 punch and thought that all would be well. It wasn't.READ THE DESCRIPTION carefully. Truly, my dissatisfaction is my own fault!

This was a bit confusing to figure out at first because the instructions are in Japanese, but once I sorted it out it was very easy to use. Note that it will only punch a few pages at a time.I like not having to worry about buying only products that are made for the binders. I have several Japanese 20-hole binders and had been looking for undated calendar pages but been only able to find them with US three-hole-punch. The punch matches up well to the 20-hole binders and I was able to set up my project notebook in good time.

I love it! It works perfectly. I bought it because I wanated to have some watercolor paper handy in my notebook/sketchbook in case i wanted to do some art with wet media, and i had to punch a page at a time but it was easy and fast. Would recommend.

My book was the exact size for it but it still didn’t fit, it doesn’t cut through anything thicker than standard paper so you can forget about the cover pages. It also jammed 5 minutes into the project and I could not find anything small enough to get the jam out.

The product works really good and can be used with about 5 sheets of "slim" paper but about 3 sheets of a "thicker" paper. Is an amazing product

It's sort of complicated to use, and in my case, I have to do one sheet at a time. The hole-puncher side seems sturdy compared to the aligner which is made out out of thin plastic.
