It really is a dark grey, not black, grey. I wish there was a black or even a mirror grey/black available on amazon but there isnt. It is nice but it also seems to make certain hues brighter (such as yellow lenses) which can be useful in some situations.The lens is very thick and should last a long time, added to that the cheap price and this is a win-win.

Works great.
I have a old pair of goggles that needed a new lens. This is the correct lens and fit great. It came with protective coating on both sides and in a nice large box to protect it.
