These ear wires started as Argentium sterling silver wire, which I hand torched to create a ball end. They were then hand shaped with my fingers and simple hand tools into a fanciful camel shape. Once shaped, I hammered them for strength and "springiness," filed the ends for comfort, and tumbled them for shine. They are made with 20 gauge Argentium sterling silver, a comfortable size, yet substantial enough to remain in your ears. [The metal, Argentium sterling silver, has the same amount of silver as traditional sterling silver (92.5%), but replaces some of the traditional 7.5 % copper with germanium. This substantially slows tarnishing and produces a beautiful metal.] The tops of your drops will hang approximately 0.7 inches from the top of the wires. The wires are approximately 1.00 inch long by 0.40 inches wide. Any of my drops will coordinate beautifully with this graceful wire.
