These are the best at beginner level. It really single out the heart sound so that you can get an accurate blood pressure reading.

I am not a nurse, but thought this worked well. My daughter, who is a nurse and uses a more expensive brand was impressed with this one. She couldn't believe the low price I paid for it. Good quality and good price.

Owned it three months so far, The scope is PERFECT for picking up a heartbeat! I was completely pleased and definitely sastified with the price I paid. The color is vibrant as shown, I received many compliments, it's a bit heavy due to the dual head piece which could hear VERY CLEARY. Glad I gave this scope a chance. Definitely will repurchase again.

This EMI stethoscope is decent for the price. The "marine green" color is great and looked nice with a dark teal cuff that I have. While this scope doesn't have the greatest sound quality it's pretty darn good, in fact is better than I expected (and is even better than a more expensive scope that I bought)..... This scope is kind of heavy though, I was always WAY too aware of the weight of it when it was hanging around my neck. The tubing was cut a bit crooked on mine as well which made it hang funny. Also the fit was off for me. I have very small ear canals. The ear tips are big and not soft/pliable enough for me to comfortably cram into my ears without significant pain. They kept popping out even when I tried to wedge them in tight. So even if I chose to ignore the pain I still couldn't get them to stay in. (I really do have tiny ear canals though so this may not be a problem for others.) So I ended up returning this item as it just didn't work for me personally. But if you are looking for a budget scope then i'd say it is worth a shot. Especially if you have Amazon prime for free returns.

It's a good length and good stethoscope. Only problem I have with it is that one its sometimes hard to hear the heart beat of my patients and the duel heads keep untightening and then falling off. Same for the ear pieces. I can't tell you how many times I've lost the whole entire ear piece. Metal and soft head together. Quality doesn't seem to be there.
