Darco International Softie Surgical Shoe Womens, Medium, 0.5 Pound

Had surgery to my toe and wanted an open toe shoe to protect my foot. I wear size 9 woman shoe and ordered a large for men worried that a women’s large would not be big enough. It’s a bit too wide at the heal so might have been better to order the large for women but the sole is very comfortable.

I wanted to replace my hospital issued shoe because I didn't like the look of it but was afraid of losing the functionality. This shoe works just as well and looks so much better! 🤗

this is the second purchase I made, as I had read reviews before buying and many said that the shoe size ran small. Having a small foot (women size 5 to 5 1/2) I purchased a medium and it was way too big and fit loose. I was desperate as I know my toe was broken, as large filled jar had rolled off my refrigerator shelf while I was cleaning it and hit my foot, smashing it pretty bad. I could not wear any shoes at all for the first week, and could not put any weight on it, so I attempted to use the medium, but it was very uncomfortable and did not really help as it was too big. So I reordered a small! What a difference! I was able to move around and be about with very little pain or pressure. Because I am diabetic, my feet are more sensitive & it is very important that I care for them properly. I do rehighly recommend this product, providing you size it right. Don't mind some of these reviews in regards to the size, as this shoe is adjustable.

They are not true to size. Too small and not made well. Do not buy

I have diabetes 2 and I was seeking an easy to put on and off medical type shoe. I purchased this (Darco Softie surgical shoe: Men’s large from Marble medical supply) model when I saw it on Amazon. My only complaint was that I thought it would come as a pair, but that is my fault for not investigating exactly what I was sending for in a soft type of shoe. I found this surgical shoe to be fairly comfortable even though my toes hung over a little bit and the shoe was a little short for my big size 13 feet; nevertheless, I am satisfied with this product and recommend it for anyone with problems with their feet and need a surgical shoe.
