Brilliant.
There are often bold claims made about agile people practices - much of which have actually been advocated by HR professionals for years - and so often they are old ideas, repackaged. Equally agile as 'one size fits all' is, in itself, not very agile. As a Chief People Officer working in an Agile environment, I have seen agile HR practices work very well - in volume recruitment for example. However, this book goes much further. It is packed with practical, workable examples, and a ton of useful ideas. It's brilliantly written by people who have worked in HR/OD and with agile, so they're able to provide credible approaches to organisational challenges using agile and OD techniques. I was so impressed, I arranged for copies for my team globally. Highly recommended.

Das für mich bislang beste Agile-HR-Buch. Inspirierend, überzeugend und eine ausgewogene Balance der verschiedenen Ebenen. Sowohl das Big Picture als auch Basics und konkrete agile Methoden zum Losstarten finden ausreichend Platz.Was ich am Buch besonders schätze: Es knüpft konsequent immer wieder an der erlebten Realität von vielen HR’lerInnen an, wie beispielsweise der stets viel zu langen Wunschliste in HR. „Value und prioritization“ zählt daher zu meinen favorisierten Kapiteln, ebenso wie „Thinking like a scientist“. Wir verfügen in HR über eine Fülle von Daten, die intelligent und innovativ genützt, uns eine ganz andere HR-Qualität für das Business generieren lässt.Dem Abschnitt, wie HR-Teams agil arbeiten können und was das bringen kann (Agile for HR) folgt der Bereich, was HR in agilen Organisationen und Transformationen leisten kann (HR for Agile). Agile ist keinesfalls nur ein Programm zum Implementieren, „it’s about people“. Und damit (auch) HR-Job.

An absolute MUST READ for HR professionals
One of THE best books out there for HR professionals that want to explore a world outside the outdated Ulrich model. Is practical, easy to digest and very thorough at the same time. While not prescriptive, is really good at providing paths forward to explore and experiment. Extremely lucky to have stumbled upon it.
