The color is even and the ink flows beautifully and is incredibly smooth. First let me start off by saying these are my absolute favorite pens! They are the only pens I will use for my schoolwork and updating my calendar. They write so smoothly and you never have to push down on the pen or scribble in the corner to get the ink to come out. Each pen comes with a small bit of plastic on the tip that must be removed before use, so you know you are getting a brand new product every time. These pens also come in many different colors, though you can choose to get the all-black pack as well depending on your preference.However, I do have to give these pens 4/5 stars because while I love the quality of writing I can achieve I also have to be very careful not to smudge the writing which happens more often than I would like. The ink takes a while to dry so smearing becomes an issue. Despite this, I still have continued to buy this product time after time because I recognize that any gel-based pen is going to encounter this same issue. And for me, the pros outweigh the cons and it is ultimately worth the money spent.

I like these, because as a Lefty it is important to me that a pen doesn't smear. Great product.
