I love this system. And the old west rules and adventure hooks are great. If you like rollplay games try this system.

This work is full of great ideas but lacks the kind of detailed development that would allow it to be used as a campaign starter kit. You would still have to generate a fair number of characters and backstories. Further, the map is nice looking, but not useful for roleplaying, regardless of level of detail. There's no scale on the map and the buildings are essentially just outlines. Still, the materials in here are fun to read and there are some super ideas for adventures.

FANTASTIC !!! As a Gamer, this is a wonderful addition to my game library. Well written and well illustrated. I highly recommend it !

Cthulhu? Love it. Old West? Love it. Mixing the two is a no brainer. So much of Lovecraftian horror works based on isolation and tradition colliding with progress and modernization. Unfortunately, true Cthulhu nuance and flavor get silly, campy and pulpy in this product's treatment. This sort of approach has been done better by Deadlands already. Missed opportunity to take a brooding, psychological approach that would feel like a mash of Deadwood, HPL, and Coen bros rendition of True Grit. Cartoonish artwork inside is very indicative of this work's sensibilities.

Idéal pour commencer une campagne western qui s'orientera progressivement vers le Mythe de Cthulhu.Il manque toute fois une table spécifique pour les armes du Far-West, des précisions sur les jeux d'argent pratiqués à l'époque, etc.
