How do you remove the shelf from the metal base? I found 2 black levers; nothing happens when I lift up or push them down. A video would be great.

It is quite simple. Simply extend or pull the unit all the way out like you are actually using it. Once fully extended you will see black plastic triggers that you can press on. If you press up/down (depending on if left or right side) and push the outer part of the slide back or away, you will be able to release the slide. Repeat this for all the slides and you will be able to separate the slides from the frame.

Our shelf was removed by a painter and I can’t find instructions on how to put it back. Can you please send me a video or instruction link?

How do I remove the shelf from the rollers once it has been installed so that I can paint the inside of the cabinet?

Thank you for your question. In order to remove the unit you would need to extend the unit all the way out. Once extended look under the carriage and find the 3 black triggers on the ball baring slides. Compress each of the black triggers releasing the unit from the slide.

Is there a way to loosen the soft close mechanism? It is hard to pull out.
