Mlock light attachment
I purchased to modify. I cut off top portion leaving only M-lock to attach light. It’s solid and lock works as described.

surprisingly quality budget side mount
I will say I was very pleased with the overall performance of this side mount. I wanted to get some usage with this mount before writing a review. I originally purchased back in March of 2023 and now writing this review in December of 2024. First off I will say it does hold zero pretty nicely. Every couple of range trips or so I may need to realign but after a quick bore sight I can get it back to zero. I currently have a WASR 10 and it did fit the side rail nice and snug. Another benefit I did discover and I do not know if this was the manufacturers intentions but this is a nice "feature", is that it does sit high enough that I can actually remove the dust cover and do a strip down of the rifle without removing the rail. Now I did just discover this and believe that now not having to remove before field stripping may help keep the optic mounted to it at zero longer. Now a con that I have with the original is it did look quite bulky with a side mounted pic rail that i really dont know what you would have used it for (perhaps a budget laser?) and getting it locked down with the screw on the bottom could be a bit cumbersome. This is why i gave 4 vs 5 stars. It does look like the manufacturer has come out with a new cleaner looking model that looks like it perhaps corrected my above "complaints". Other than that for a $50 budget side mount that will hold zero more often then not I am impressed and will continue to utilize in the future.

Worked Great on my Saiga12!
I am really pleased with this pic rail adapter. It actually fit perfectly on my Saiga 12 (in Russian, it is pronounced like 'sigh-gah'). Its sturdy and with a bit of Vibra-Tite on the screw threads, it isn't coming loose or off until I take it off. Helpful hint here, take a tip from Magpul, Vibr-Tite or Vibra-Seal are better choices for almost all firearm applications than threadlocker compounds and far less likely to cause damage in the removal or adjustment of fasteners. This is a simple design, yet it is a well-made quality product. My Rating System: 5-Stars - A Superior Product or Above Average & An Excellent Value - I would recommend. 4-Stars - Above Average OR Excellent Value – A great choice. 3-Stars - Average – What one might generally expect. 2-Stars - Below Average Product OR Poor Quality Control – Maybe seek an alternative. 1-Stars - Avoid if at all possible.

doesnt fit psa ak
Didnt fit my PSA ak like the other review said. It is visibly slanted down & to the right. Also not centered over the bore

It works, but not perfect.
Likes: Price Easy to mount Dislikes: Cannot see the iron sights tools needed to dismount. For the price, this is a decent mount. It was easy to mount and the optic mounted easily and firmly. Unfortunately you cannot see the sights, so if your optic fails you can't use the sights as a backup. Also, the mount needs tools to remove it, so again, an optic failure will deprive you of any aiming options. For a range gun or for plinking, this is a good mount. I would reconsider this if you needed it for serious uses. I did have photos of this mounted, but the review was denied so I guess that is not allowed.
