Bought this just a shelf for my bathroom. I didn’t do anything to it before slapping on the wall but I will recommend that you treat it somehow if you’re going to use it in the bathroom

This shelf is not fixed to the wall it rests on the screws sticking out 8 mm from the wall, slightest knock and it will fall off the wall

A cheap bit of wood cut into a quarter shelf.You get what you pay for.
