A wonderful cookbook for the home cook.
I really like Jenn Segal's cooking philosophy...make it delicious, but don't make it hard to prepare. Great recipes, easy to follow instructions, lots of tips on how to replace some hard-to-find ingredients for ethnic dishes.

An Excellent compendium of easy, quick to make recipes
Nothing to dislike! Very tasty recipes which are accessible to all. My only comment is that some of the ingredient names e. g. ‘Chicken tenders’ aren’t widely recognised in Europe soNamed, suitable substitutes would be helpful.

Another fantastic book
Jen’s first cook book is one of my all time favourite cook books and I have a lot. I have followed her blog for years and all my family and friends love her recipes, so I pre-ordered this book as soon as I could. It had a lot to live up to. I have had it for a week now and have a big list of recipes I can’t wait to try. I have already made the lasagne soup, Blackened Fish Tacos and Creamy Potato soup all of which have been easy and really tasty. There are a few family favourites in the book that I have been making for years from her blog such as breakfast burritos, chicken Marsala and Greek style shrimp, it’s nice to have them in hard copy as well. If you are looking for a cookbook that you will use over and over again, with recipes that won’t fail then I definitely recommend Weeknight/weekend. I will be buying extra copies for Christmas presents
