Honda HRX217 (Serial Range MAGA-2200001-Up) HRR216 (Serial Range MZCG-86700001-Up) Tune-Up Kit

Great price and works with my Honda lawnmower.

Parts were genuine Honda parts and fit like a glove. I found YouTube videos on how to change oil and install blades. Super easy and only took about 20 minutes total. All you need is a couple of hand tools including 14mm socket and a pan to catch the oil. It's easier to change the oil if the lawn mower can be a foot or two above the oil pan. I used a small retaining wall with the pan on the bottom of the wall This makes it easy to tip mower over and drip directly in pan without spilling all over the mower. I didn't have a torque wrench as YouTube video recommended so I just tightened really tight so blade wont come off. Mower runs like new. The only thing the package didn't include was instructions. There was no indication that the spark plug gap was pre-set correctly so I just assumed it was. Mower runs great so I guess it's ok.

I had to do a bit of research to make sure it fit as I have a HRR216K with model number 1264970, I got this kit and it worked perfectly! The blades come sharpened and the spark plug is pre-gapped for quick install. Took about 10 minutes to do everything and the mower has never run and cut better since out of the box. They also included a maintenance sticker. Great kit, I would definitely recommend!

I recently purchased a Honda HRX217HYA lawnmower and I wanted to get the items necessary for fall maintenance. I realize that fall is a long way off, but I like to have the items on hand to put the mower away for the winter. I ordered this maintenance kit because it included a spare set of blades that I can rotate with the original blade set to sharpen. When I priced the items included in the kit separately, buying this kit was about $10 cheaper, and I got free shipping on Prime. The items were shipped by the seller very promptly and packaged well. All the parts were genuine Honda parts and matched the part numbers from my owners manual. While there is a good chance I will unlikely order this exact kit again since I don't really need several spare sets of blades, I will definitely look to order from Powersports Stuff again in the future. All in all it was a great purchase that saved me a couple bucks from a good seller. P.S. I love the Honda HRX217HYA mower.

This kit is a great value and all genuine Honda parts. When I purchased Amazon showed 2-day delivery and it came the next day. It took me under 40 minutes to change the oil and install the new parts. My mower runs as good as new again. You don't realize how dull your blade really was until you mow with a fresh one again.The seller was also incredibly helpful. I was struggling to find the kit and parts for my Honda model (Honda doesn't make it easy with different parts for models depending on serial number range). Perfect for the spring tuneup. Just wish the blades came sharpened. Easy to do myself but wish they were already sharp.
