GSeat Ultra ~ Portable Ergonomic Gel Seat Cushion

I have had this for a little less than a week. The difference I feel today compared to last week is no joke. Last week I was in so much tailbone pain when getting up from my seat. I have been using a $30 seat cushion I bought via Amazon with a hole in tailbone area on my office chair. I have been angry to come home because anywhere I sat, my tailbone would be in pain. A few years ago I bought a cushion from relax the back and spent about $250. It was a good buy. But I needed something ASAP because life was getting miserable because even the $250 cushion wasn't fully helping. So I bought the Large Ultra Gel Foam Ortho Seat Cushion. NO JOKE. This was the best buy ever. I would say that I am about 70% better. I no longer have pain when I stand up from my chair. Sitting on this cushion makes me realize how my bad posture was contributing to my tail bone pain. I can move this cushion to the kitchen chairs and sit with my son without pain. I see how my cheap $30 cushion was ruining my back. I also see how my Relax the Back cushion was getting old and is no longer firm enough to offer proper support.I am so grateful to Gelco Products. This is the best buy. I will be buying a second one to have in my car and take to my grad class.For specs, I am 5'6 female an am an average weight.Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have several around the house and in the cars. I also have the smaller travel ones but hardly use them any more because the Ultra works better. I take the Ultra on airline flights and into restaurants. It's bulky but without it, sitting causes stretched ligaments which result in later pain. The carry handle breaks after a dozen or so uses so I just carry it under my arm. It goes through TSA more quickly if I lay it on the conveyor instead of letting it ride through xray in my carry on.My sitting pain is caused by misalignment of the pelvis and sacrum which puts stress on ligaments near the coccyx. The only relief I've found is this cushion, especially the Ultra model. I've tried other brands and designs but I haven't tried other gel seat competitors. I just stick with this one because it works so well. I own 5 to avoid shifting them around the house and cars. It feels firm but that works for me and it relieves pressure points and somehow relieves stress on those ligaments. I gave it 4 stars because the handle design is weak but I would give it 10 stars for improvement to my health and well being.

I would've given this GSeat Ultra a 5 star rating when it was new, however I bought in Aug 2019 here on Amazon and used it approximately once a week for a poker games until March when the shutdown occurred. Used it only a few times since October 2020 and it failed. Gel is leaking from multiple places and, of course, it's out of warranty!I have to give it 2 stars now since I only got about 6 months of concessional use out of it. Tried to do an Amazon warranty claim says not available. It was super comfortable but I don't think this design is for long term use. I'm 5'10 and weight 180 lbs.

This review should supersede the previous review. I gave a one star review and now I’m changing it to 5+ stars!! As I stated in previous review there was nothing wrong with the cushion seat itself. It appeared to have gotten wet and damaged the handle. Not Gelco’s fault by any means. The Gelco rep reached out to me and I responded. C.W., to protect the innocent, was awesome! She is sending me a New cushion today to replace the damaged one. I sent her pictures and she was greatful for the information. I on the other hand am thrilled that C.W. Was able to help me. By the way, this is my 2nd G-seat cushion. I was the proud owner of one for 11 years!! Thank you Gelco Products for such an excellent product and awesome employee customer service!!

This cushion is amazing and definitely worth the price. I keep it in my car for a more ergonomic ride, and bring it in with me to meetings and rehearsals where the seats are hard and uncomfortable. Carrying handle is great, although I usually carry it around in a tote bag. I've left it in the car in the winter, and the cold doesn't seem to affect it's spring. But in the summer, I keep a towel over it (otherwise it gets too hot and I'm unable to sit on it). It's pretty grippy on the bottom, so doesn't slide around on hard surfaces. But the bottom is stiff, so it wouldn't work in all cars (would depend on seat geometry).
