Bought this item to be fitted into a new multipoint locking back door so it was installed by the manufacturers prior to fitting. Looks good but we haven’t been able to test it as the cat died 2 days before the door was installed.

猫が遊べる庭があるので猫の出入りは自由にさせたいのですが、地域猫（野良）が勝手に入り込むのは困る・・・そんな悩みをこれが完璧に解決してくれました。家族が亡くなりひとりなので仕事で家を空けるのですが、飼っている猫の出入りは自由にさせたい。猫の食事も家の中に準備しておきたい。でも、野良が・・・という悩みが完全になくなりました。しばらく鍵無しで出入りさせて慣らしたら首輪に取り付けて、鍵機能をＯＮにするだけ。野良は何度か真似して試してきましたが全てシャットアウト、今は諦めてます。自分の猫は出入り自由なので、気分次第で外で楽しく遊んでいるようです。他のドアに比べたらちょっと値が張るかもですが、それだけの価値が充分にありました。

Purchased as catmate elite no longer available. Had issues with hole size. Had to increase from stated size as too much tension so wouldn't open from outside. Cats have to touch and push flap simultaneously with this one so few teething problems but got there.
