Yes, you will need a 10 volume developer, but your processing time might need to be shortened to avoid your color going too dark, unless that is what your desired goal is. I have a lot of white hair, and this hair color covers it very well. However, each time I wash my hair, a little bit of the dye fades. I wash my hair every day, and dye it once a month. By the end of the month, my white hair is light brown.
