100 s'mores sticks for about $15... yes please! God forbid my son toasts his marshmallow with a stick that daddy sharpened for him! It's dirty he says hahaha seriously. So I buy these for him (which will probably last until he moves out and can take the rest with him) and he's so thankful you'd think I gave him something extremely valuable. But it mostly just saved my sanity in not hearing "Mom a bird probably pooped on that stick! I'm not putting my food on it!" Point taken I suppose. We both win with these!Plus, we found them handy when we had guests over making s'mores, too. They also make great pretend swords and can be driven into the ground to mark off game areas. Perhaps even bigass kabobs! Super fun. Buy them and experiment :)

After reading reviews and the questions we decided to try them. In one of the questions someone asked if you have to soak them and all the answer were no. Well that is completely false. SOAK THEM! Our sticks burned up on contact with the flame which resulted in hot dogs in the fire and not in the tummy. Marshmallows had burnt pieces of bamboo stick stuck in its gooiness...Would not buy again. Will soak before next use. Just adds one more step to the process.

I had some friends o ver for a campfire, and these worked perfectly for s'mores and starbursts! I don't know if these would be stiff enough for something like a hot dog though. My only minor complaint is that if you reuse one several times in a row, the end can burn and leave a charred taste on your marshmallow. But they're cheap enough that you can just throw it in the fire when you get to that point, so it's not really an issue.

These sticks are perfect for roasting marshmallows over a campfire. I usually buy these at a chain store; much less in a pack for $1.00, but found that these are a better price and more convenient.I have not tried to use these with anything other then marshmallows, so I do not know how they would hold up. And yes, they are made of wood; so if exposed to fire they will burn.I have not had any issues with splintering, I found my pack to be smooth.

After telling a friend I was going to order hot dog skewers for a bonfire, he told me of this great gift he got... no clean up required and no storage!! Just use and throw in the fire when done!! These sticks came in 1 day with prime and were perfect for marshmallows and Nathan’s hotdogs! Sturdy and flame proof. Perfect dull point on one end for skewering food Would definitely recommend!
