Tips to achieve your perfect tie dye projects! Always pre-wash or pre-soak the fabric before starting to dye. Fabric should be a little damp when starting your project for better application of dye. Place each shirt in a sealed bag, by itself. Do not put multiple projects together in the same bag. This will mix the color and create bleeding/unwanted colors. Keep the project in the sealed bag for 16-24 hours for best results. When it’s time to rinse, keep the rubber bands on and rinse all the excess color out. Rinse until you see the rinse water is clear. Hold the project in your hand when rinsing, do not put down on sink. When all the excess dye is rinsed out and the water is clear. Remove rubber bands. Extra step to avoid bleeding: place fabric in a bowl filled with water and dish soap, soak for 30-40 minutes. Rinse, then put in washing machine. Great kit for the $
Did a family tye dye party and had a blast. The product was easy to use and vibrant colors. Only thing is, it doesn't come with soda ash for the pretreatment, so you have to buy separately. Over all highly recommend. Will add pictures of the finished product soon!

Pretty expensive but comes with everything you might need! The dye fades a lot after a few washes

A nice first tie dye project kit but lower your expectations somewhat
The kit was super easy to use and the instructions were extremely well written. The addition of the gloves and drop cloth was a lifesaver as you will get dye everywhere if you're not careful. While the kit was easy to use and mixing the dyes was straightforward, we were disappointed with the color of the end product. Even following the instructions to make the dye stronger the shirts still came out very faded and almost pastel in color.If that pastel look is what you are after then this kit will work for you. If you are wanting the vibrant colors seen in the pictures, do a bit of research and spend a bit more for some quality dyes from another provider like Dharma Trading.
