Niacin 500mg, Extended Release 90t

This product when paired with other things was brilliant however it can cause black and blue marks or easy bruising and then you end up with the purplish bluish greenish colored spot about the size of a silver dollar in various places on your body for a few days. At least it's not pink. That's just not my color.

When my doctor's office called to give me the results of my lab tests, I was advised to start taking Niacin. I was told that if it makes your face red to take a low dose aspirin with it. I don't like taking more pills than I really need, so when I saw that this was formulated to prevent redness, I decided to start with this brand (Vital Nutrients). I have been so pleased that I don't have to take low dose aspirin as well; and even more pleased that I don't have to keep trying other brands, because I found a good brand on my first try. (I love when that happens.)

This supplement is recommended by my Naturopath for high cholesterol. The convenience of ordering on Amazon is my favorite. The price is competitive with my Naturopath's prices, Pharmaca and other sites that sell supplements. Vital brand is also independently tested for harmful metals or contaminants. I don't use supplements that are not independently tested (I usually use supplements that have been third party independently tested) because there are few standards to keep people safe from contaminated vitamins.

This product my work for others but not for me. It made my heart race and skip a beat so I stopped taking it.
