Beautiful, healthy snails packaged carefully and shipped quickly! I am really impressed by the quality of these Magenta Mystery snails, one of my best online aquarium purchases.Update: not sure what I did wrong but two of them died in the days after my review. Nerites in the tank are still OK so idk

I am so happy with my purchase from this store! The snails arrived pretty quickly, and very well packaged. All three were alive and well! The paperwork said that it can take up to 3 days for them to start moving around in the aquarium after they've been released, but after letting them float to acclimate temperatures for about 45 minutes, and very gently releasing the snails, within seconds one of them was trekking all the way across the tank! All three of them became very active within the hour, and they seem very healthy.

I will never buy live again via Amazon after this fiasco. They say they come with a live on arrival guarantee but it’s also clear that you’re supposed to declare them dead before you open, smell or attempt to climatize them to your tank; while also telling you they take zero responsibility after you open the bag?? So three arrived looking as instructions said they should look (no visual issues with packing, no high or low temps here and arrival was 24 hours ahead of schedule). One has shown signs of life for a couple of hours in the 48 hrs I’ve had it. The others are clearly dead, one stank horrible and was dead on arrival (still tried to climatize and it just stank and created fungus). And the other floated and then started stinking without ever showing any sign of life. I’m hoping one of my three survives. Oh and a full page of terrible instructions without any directions on what to do if dead or how to contact them. Terrible

Snails were as described and of a good size. Arrive alive and healthy even after fedex failed to deliver on a friday and didn't deliver till a monday. Great color.

I was worried about how the snails would arrive because the recent reviews were not great. Also I usually order from a different place that ships next day FedEx not usps. I was disappointed that they arrived in my mailbox, not to the door. If I was not checking constantly on their delivery they could of sat inside of it for a while. Also, there was no indication that there was a live item inside on the box so they would possibly be handled gently by the usps. When I opened the box one snail was out of its shell and two were tightly tucked inside their shell inside of the package. They were as described and a nice shade of magenta. Once they were acclimated to the water and put in the tank two started moving after a few minutes and the one that was stuck to the bag finally let go and started eating the moment he landed on the gravel. They are still doing well and moving all over the tank. The main complaint that I have with this company is the way they were shipped.

They showed up alive, but in a bag that was leaking badly. Very minimal water left in the bag, but I let them acclimate to my tank slowly and once in the tank I knew there may be trouble. First they were more rust colored than purple/magenta (they were basically red racer snails) and they were much smaller than pictured. 2 died within a day (lids fell of and they started to float) and the third held on for almost a week before it met the same demise. My tank is a well established and planted with lots of live plants. I've had no deaths untill this bad purchase. Just go buy from your LFS for a few bucks and save yourself the money and hassle. 2 stars cause they actually showed up, and sort of lived for more than a few hours...

Very fast delivery. My snails were well packed in a cup with moss and a damp paper towel. All were alive and cruising around the tank almost as soon as I dropped them in. Very happy with this purchase and will order from this business again. Thank you!
