This caused a skin reaction.
Looks great.... but several months later, I still have marks on my torso from the reaction my skin had to this material.

It serves its purpose.
I’ve had much less soreness working around the house after buying this, to stabilize my surgically (un)repaired bionic shoulder.

Not as helpful as i hope
The brace instructions (drawings on the box) left out steps. It took about 30 minutes to figure out how to use it. We took tightened the injured arm velcro and it was still loose on my arm. I don’t think this will be helpful while I wait for shoulder replacement surgery. If you need light support, this might me useful; but it will not provide comfort for torn rotator cuff or labrum. Purchased from a another retailer. .

Definitely provides warmth
It does provide a little support but not what I was looking for. I have severe arthritis in my shoulder and looked for this to help. I wore it two or three times so far and I'm not impressed. It moves around too much and I find myself always adjusting it. It provides a little support for a short time. But from moving, an air gap develops at the shoulder and support is gone. No matter how I adjust the straps and how tight I wear it, support goes away within a short time. The only way I see this working is if you put it on and don't reach for anything. I'll be looking for another brand and type.

Ineffective & Confusing
FYI, I purchased this from another vendor. How this thing is supposed to work is a mystery. It seems to be little more than a bicep wrap with a strap to hold it in place. What's that supposed to do? Beats me.I got this for a torn rotator cuff, but it doesn't immobilize the shoulder or alleviate pain. Moreover (as others have noted), it's difficult to adjust by one's self, particularly if you have difficulty with your other arm. In short, I found this item to be completely useless. YMMV, but caveat emptor.

How to easily put on the brace
At first, I hated this product because like many others, it was a huge pain to try and put on, however, I figured out an easy way to do so. Simply Velcro the arm sleeve and then push your arm through the space and pull the brace over the shoulder. Then take the strap and run it under your underarm and strap it up; when I take the brace off, I leave the arm still velcroed and just take off the strap. Hope this helps!PS..my shoulder has felt much better after wearing for a few weeks.
