This is a fantastic product. My hair has never felt so good. I used to relax my hair and also used japanese hair straightener for while, all of which were very damaging. This product does not have a smell like other relaxers and keratin treatments. It's so gentle and smells good. I was shocked how well it worked. My hair is soft and manageable now. Although I was not intending to take all the curl out, it did straighten my hair. It looks fantastic.

I have 4b/c hair. I was hesitant to purchase, but read the review from another 4 tenured lady here and saw a review on YouTube from another. I have also had salon keratin treatments in the past.People need to understand that this is NOT A STRAIGHTENER. It’s a smoothing treatment that helps with frizz and manageability. And to that point, I am VERY happy with my results. There is no horrible smell or fumes like the salon version. It didn’t burn at all and I found it easy to use overall. My kit had all the advertised pieces. The shower cap is a little small and the gloves aren’t the best, but fortunately, I had extras of those items on hand.I had great results immediately and my hair stayed straight for 2 weeks in Texas heat and humidity until I washed it. My hair reverted after the shampooing but was much easier to handle and manipulate than before the treatment. After the first wash, I conditioned, dried, and flat ironed (only 1-2 passes this time) and it stayed straight again.I’ll see how long it lasts. So far my hair seems like it’s still healthy and non-damaged. I’ll try to update this review if there are any significant changes.

For those considering a keratin treatment, I would recommend researching alternatives with consistently positive reviews.Overall, while the packaging and instructions were well-done, the effectiveness of the treatment did not justify the price. A more reliable formula would make this a worthwhile investment.

I’ve used this product twice now and about to do y 3rd treatment, for me it lasts about 5 months but I’m sticking to an every 6 mo. schedule and it really works great!! My hair is thick and naturally curly. I straighten my hair 99% of the time and tho this product doesn’t straighten my hair if that’s what you are expecting that’s not what makes it so great!! What it does do is it helps keep my hair frizz free in humidity and is a COMPLETE game changer!! I travel alot and when I get hot or in humid weather my straightend hair gets big and frizzy and the curls come back ima wired way lol but this product keeps my hair from doing any of that!!! It really tames my hair and keeps the frizz away!! After about 5months it is very noticeable the difference when it starts to wear off!! I am so Happy with this product.

I have THICK, naturally wavy hair. In warm humid conditions it can become unruly. My routine when I wash it is to dry it, use my flat iron to smooth and straighten and then a big rod to add some curls to style. It is a process!There were mixed reviews in this product. To clear one thing up - follow the directions on the box. Leave the product in your hair and then rinse out. No one would want to blow dry their hair with this product on their hair! Rinse then blow dry and straighten.The end result has allowed me to eliminate my smoothing iron step as my air is less frizzy and much smoother and it dries more quickly. I’m looking forward to seeing how long this lasts, but will purchase and do again.For my hair, I had to use the entire bottle of product. The only reason for not giving maximum stars is due to the smell. It’s tolerable, but now I’ve washed three times post processing and the smell still lingers, but I will take that over the work of straightening each wash.

We followed all steps from the directions, however it didn’t completely get rid of the frizziness, the first day was ok, seemed to work but after first wash, hair was still pretty frizzy.It also leaves a smell that my daughter completely hated it. I would say it worked like 30%, got rid of some frizziness however not most of it.Probably won’t but it again.

I received my product but with no instructions to apply from home. I can update this review if I can find the full introduction on how to apply it step by step. Please Help!

This product works well on natural 4c hair. I was reluctant to try it, but I'm glad I did. It works way better on my hair versus the Design Essential STS treatment. Also, it's a fraction of the cost they charge in a salon for this type of treatment which runs a couple of hundred dollars. It smells nice, didn't irritate, or burn my scalp at all. My silk press came out just as good as a salon visit. It even lasted through some sweaty gym session with a sweat band of course too. It puffed a little at the roots, but my hair did not revert back. Once it was dry I was able to wrap it with a scarf tied down to lay it back down and/or use the flat iron for a little smoothing. And best of all I can apply this in the comfort of my own home. I definitely will be using this product from now on as a staple for manageability of my hair. Glad I gave it a chance.
