I installed this unit on a 55 gallon barrel with only a small opening at the top. Worked very well, only took about 5 minutes to install. I was very impressed.

Super simple and straight forward directions. They tell you exactly what size hole saw to use and the assembly took no time at all. So far I’ve had no problems with leaking and the spigots are working great. My only word of advice if you choose to use these is to have a couple of adjustable wrenches on hand to make tightening the spigot into the connector easier. Would definitely order these again for my rain barrel needs!

This spigot is exactly what was needed to transform 2 barrels into a rainwater collection system. Well made and seemingly durable. installation was easy, and unit works perfectly.

I’ve purchased electronics that weren’t as carefully packaged. I thought I’d get a bag of fittings. Arrived in a tidy box with foam pockets holding all the parts- first impressions matter. Solid brass, washer in place, Teflon tape and a length of cord. Five minute job. Piece o cake. The brass is nice if a hose will be used for dragging and pulling a just being rude. Can’t go wrong. I priced out fittings at our hardware store and this was easier, the reverse threading is secure, and I’d go this route again in the future. Very pleased

With the right tools, these were generally pretty easy to install. My only complaint is that trying to get them lined up straight when tightening can be a bit difficult - I was able to get one spot on and the other one has to be a bit angled. I also have a problem with one of them having a slight leak, but it is so minimal it doesn't really affect my rain barrel's level unless I don't draw water for an extended period. I will say I can't speak to the capability of using the string to install the inside piece as instructed, as my arms are long enough I was able to just install by hand.

Was planning to use this product on my rain barrel. But two of the parts were so stuck together I couldn't separate them. In the time I decided to get a new barrel system. Good product good quality I would recommend it. I saw it on YouTube.
