Greenhouse Louvre Vent Automatic Window Opener

Flimsy construction but adequate for the purpose.

This product is obviously a tried and tested design because it is exacly the same as the 40 year old auto-opener I have on another greenhouse louvre window and which is still working! It is easy to fit and is working well.

Bought another two

I installed this earlier this year and although it was a bit of a challenge to install (I needed to drill 2 small holes in the greenhouse window frame) it has been perfect now for several months. If I wanted to be over-critical, it is slightly slower to react to temperature changes than the other ones I have, but only slightly so - and the others were over twice the price of this.Great value for money and highly recommend, as long as you are half decent at DIY

Not actually fitted this one yet, but the other louvre vent in my greenhouse has one of these fitted so I see no reason why this one should be any different. Once installed and you set your desired operating temperature (which is best done by trial and error) it operates faultlessly during the hot summer days

Slightly misleading description, I assumed it was the complete window kit, it’s only the mechanism!
