LA REINA DE SALSA!!! SI!!!! I have adored the Great Celia Cruz since I am a child. This box set is awesome. I cannot speak Spanish(learning slowly) and it doesn't matter. Celia Cruz is beyond language barriers. The emotion she sparks from within is more than enough. The language of music is universal. She totally moves me. Her spirit and the joy she puts into her music makes you feel so energized and grateful that you are blessed with the gift of hearing. Mi primera rumba! Play these Cd's when you are in a bad mood and your spirits will be lifted. This boxed set will keep anyone who loves and appreciates Salsa in a total trance. Her depth, her grace, her voice, her soul. All that she was and still is, is reflected in this box set. It includes most of her early recordings with La Sonora Matancera. The only thing I wish this set had are the credits. It's nice to know what was going on and what frame of mind an artist is in when recording, as well as time frame. She was truly heaven sent. AMAZING!!! Thank God for the essence that is Celia Cruz.

There is no better deal for these 60 songs
This is a great collection of 60 of Celia's most famous early-career era songs collected from various albums...at this price, there is no better deal to get such a great quantity, and at such a great quality. The sound is excellent.
