Works nicely
This worked really nicely for me. Using a 1 megaohm resistor I was able to turn it into a 0-50V meter with much lower current drain than the meters I had. I wish there was a template available for printing my own gauges, but that's asking a lot.

Accurate d'arsonval movement
Measures accurately full scale 1 milliampere. The transparent cover can be removed so that you can add another scale, for instance RPM or humidity or whatever. The DC resistance of the meter is close to 160 ohms. It is a d' arsonval movement, appears to be well made. Good price. No polarity marks, looking at it from the back side, the left terminal is positive.

Direction of current not marked on casing
Probably good enough if you only need +-1mA or so, but it's not all that precise. The direction of current is not marked, so you'll need to check if you get it wrong the first time.

I got what I ordered in a timely fashion.
Classic analog panel ammeter. It matched my needs and is reasonably price. Easy to install and had all the little nuts and washers one needs to do that.

Works great
Got this to replace the meter for my ft-857. Works better than the original did.

Ok for price
Used on my model RR layout on 18v power supply. Already have one on 12v supply. I use it as a “gross” indicator of current. Have checked with a DVM and is close enough.
