Not a free return.
The monitor does not count calories accurately. I am returning this because I love to keep track of my calories burnt. Iām disappointed because I paid $600 and am getting refunded $475. Do not trust Amazon with the āfree returns for primeā they are changing the rules and hiding it.

Beginners to rowing, Sturdy, Imperfect
The media could not be loaded. Ā Update July 18, ā21 weāve enjoyed the tower. Love the mobility, because it can be folded and stored away. Iāve been rowing consistently for a couple weeks along with fitness coach on YouTube. The monitor is horrible. This could be a great rower it the monitor worked properly. I often have to take the batteries out because the lcd gets stuck and now some numbers just doesnāt show.Original June 2021: Purchased as a gift. It arrived already assembled. However, it appears that the unit may have been refurbished and not new as purchased. There are signs of wear on the wheels unless thatās from rolling around a dirty warehouse, discoloration on the wood frame and the monitor doesnāt sit up as the screw to tighten it is stripped. My biggest concern with this unit is that it did not come with instructions or the water treatment pellets as advertised, which is another reason I think it may be refurbished. Weāve been traveling and havenāt had enough time to really get a consistent regime going, but things are settling down for us so we hope to really test it out. However it would be nice if there were instructions to operate the monitor. I didnāt return the unit because I thought it would be more of a hassle than I wanted to deal with. It looks good and the little time weāve spent rowing it seems to function as designed. Seat rolls smooth and pull handle is nice. Wish they would upgrade the monitor to be compatible with fitness apps that instruct, more user friendly and a place to hold your phone or iPad.You get what you pay for. I will update my review after I have spent some quality time with using the rower. A little disappointed but excited as well.
