Great product, I love it except that it is just a tiny touch too wide for me and I cannot have my car seat in the correct position (car seat is too close to be able to drive comfortably and I can't push the car seat back to be in a comfortable position AND have the backseat extender in place.I'm working around it though as I love the idea and concept of this and so does my dog.

I drive a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. We have 3 dogs. A Lab (see picture), a 8 year old female Hound mix and a 12 months old female Hell Hound. Yes, this is an actual breed description. She is crazy and was born on Halloween. Our two females don't always get along and just laying the backseat down and having all three dogs in the vehicle without any separation is a recipe for disaster that we don't need.Solution: separation during transport so we can go on walks with all 3.The space between front and backseat is problematic for our Lab. Anything that challenges his stability is an issue and could cause him no longer wanting to get into the vehicle.After some searching and measuring I decided to buy two of these. They are very sturdy and are a perfect fit. The fact that we can use them for storage is a huge plus.I placed a piece of carpet pad on top of each box. This keeps the backseat cover from sliding around. I had our Lab in the backseat and he moved around comfortably. This is Jake approved!!

I bought this extender for a long road trip I was taking with my senior, 45 lb pittie mix dog. She's a very anxious girl and I wanted to make her as comfortable as possible. I have a BMW X6 and this fit snugly on the floor of the front seat (I had to push the seat back and had to take out the items in the side pockets to shut the door but it did fit.) It also fit perfectly in the back seat for our return trip. Here's what I did and used for our trip: I set this extender up on the front seat floor. I own a 2018 Toyota Camry, and the box works great. It sits flush with the seat so it’s comfy for my dog. Now I need to find a wide enough car seat cover that allows the space.
