French Knitting: 40 fast and fun i-cord creations using a mini knitting mill

Nice assortment of patterns
Lots of ideas for using the I-Cord machine. I plan to make quite a few of the ideas as Christmas gifts. I particularly liked the bracelets, necklaces, keychains, and shoe laces. I believe the teens I know will enjoy them.

I got this book because I was hoping it would have all the letters of the alphabet but this one only includes letters A and L. If you have an i cord machine and can do that then all of these are very easy. Disappointed it doesn’t include all of the letters. I will see if I can return it.

A nice beginner collection
I never once got the impression that you get a knitting mill?!The book is obviously projects for iCord, the cover is self-explanatoryMaking iCord is finicky, you have to have free tension on the yarn and send it through the machine in a really precise way. It definitely needs the weight pulling it through but once you know, you knowIts just practiceThere are YouTube videosSome nice projects in the book, a little basic for what I wanted as I already make knitted wire names and wanted some new ideasProbably better suited to a younger audience so I returned itThere’s a Dreamcatcher, headbands, cupcake, wire flowers, clutch bag..from what I rememberAs another reviewer said, its one for a wet afternoon in

Lovely book BUT
It is a lovely looking book with ideas of what to do with the I-cords when they have been made BUT the title of the book, '40 fast and fun i-cord creations with a mini knitting mill' may be misleading as it seems to imply that you are getting a knitting mill with the book. That is not the case. You need to buy a mini knitting mill separately which will cost around £20+. It might be better if the title of the book was changed to '40 fast and fun i-cord creations USING a knitting mill' to avoid any confusion.

Disappointing!
This book is advertised as coming with a knitting loom….it doesn’t! Unless you have a loom don’t buy it as you will be charged for postage on a book you can’t use unless you spend more money on equipment!

Ok
The machine to go with it is impossible to use. Wasted money.
