It works as it should. It says on the side that this is a "Prototype". And the little clip that clicks on and off looks different from the actual production units that I've purchase before. However, for the little 1/10 of the price I don't mind buying more of them.

What can I say? I took it from the package, crammed it into the SFP slot on my Cisco SG300-10 switch, connected the fiber, and it's been working perfectly for months. Can't go wrong with a Cisco accessory in a Cisco switch, right?
