Toys R Us Plush 15 inch Sammie the Pup

I purchased the original Sammie for my daughter about three years ago when our local Toys R Us was having a closing sale. My son who is 15mos younger adored this dog and promptly adopted him as his "doggy." I don't know how my husband was able to order 5 more identical dogs from a completely faded tag off of the original last year before Christmas, but he did. They looked exactly the same. He recently ordered another pair of doggies that arrived with different colored noses, under aideof ears, tail colors and a sad turned mouth. The most recent dog he ordered arrived completely different with extra soft fluffy fur but at least the plots are similar and he's smiling. Of course, the boy still chooses the original style dog. Just be aware, you will lot receive what is in the advertised picture.

Cute, but not the same stuffed animal as the one pictured. We purchased this toy specifically because it was a larger version of one my son already had. It was very disappointing to open the box and find a dog with a different face (smiling instead of diagonal downturned mouth, and round nose instead of oval, along with dark ears). Accurate pictures are important!

The Sammie you get does not look like the picture! Extremely disappointed as I was replacing one that was chewed by my dog. She instantly knew it was different. I had already taken tags off hoping she wouldn't notice. So I guess I will go looking for another.

Was not the puppy I purchased. I purchased the brown sammie not the tan. My daughter knew the difference and was very distraught

I bought this dog and he is extremely soft! The only thing I can say is, he is smaller than I would've thought. He is around 14 inches, but he's very slim and slender. My dog also, looks, abit evil. The stuffing in him is not distributed enough on his head, so it changes his eye shape. But I still like him.

Sammie was a huge hit with my grand daughter. From the moment she opened him at Christmas she was in love. He is soft and cuddly, just perfect for a new plush pal.

My child just loves her "doggie". We've had 3 of them since she was born(she's 4). They've changed "him" up a little but none the less, she loves him all the same.
