KEEN womens Ridge Flex Waterproof Boot

Comfortable and durable
Used these shoes for hiking in forests, sand dunes, and along lake/riversides. Can vouch for their waterproof abilities! I was able to stand in the water with the shoes submerged about half way up with no leaks. So far so good!

Worth every penny
Very comfortable and protects the foot. Also easy to walk on rocky surfaces and sand. Worth every penny! Get wool socks to keep the feet dry and comfy

Very Light Weight and Looks Well Made, Runs a bit small
This is my first Keen shoe. Let me say I’m impressed with the lightness of these boots. The last thing you want is heavy shoes on your feet when you are hiking for hours. You want something lightweight that allows you to be maneuverable and won’t tire out your leg muscles or feet. As far as hiking boots go, I would say these are probably the most comfortable you’re going to get. That being said, I wish there was a little more cushion to the step. I’m sure it can be remedied with some insoles. That was really the only other factor that would have made them almost impeccable boots. I usually wear a 10 1/2 so I went up to a size 11. For me it does not leave a lot of toe or wiggle room if I were to wear thicker socks. I did find that the front of the shoe, the width from where your big toe ball joint would be parallel to your pinky toe, where the widest part of your foot usually is - that part in the shoe definitely needs to be a tad wider - I do not have wide feet at all, I’ve never had to buy wide width. I think they actually could be at least an eighth of an inch longer in the toe and they would be a true 11, so I think I’m going to have to go to a 12 and see how that works. Other than that I am happy with this style and brand of shoes. I just need a bigger size.

Nice boot
Roomy but not loose. Love the room for toes to spread out yet fits well in bridge without rubbing. Will see if lasts more than one hiking season (spring- fall), but great value regardless.

Excellent boots!
I just got these today. Although it’s hot summer, now is a great time to grab fro Fall, since they are on sale! These are so comfortable, way better than my Timberlands I’ve been wanting to replace. They have more tread underneath too. I need that, since we hike mountainous areas in north Georgia and Tennessee. I got a size 10, and glad I did. Go up a half size for sure. I usually do in all boots anyways. I wear 9.5 in heels, but always 10 in boots, and these as well, with plenty of room to hike in on incline, when your foot slides; you need extra room, also with thick socks. Go up a half size from your heel size. But if you wear a 10 in boots already like I do , then it’s just the same. They are perfectly feminine and cute, and made very well. I find the ankle a higher fit, buts it’s soft and cushioned; however, I recommend tall boot socks in case . I have zero regrets! This is my first pair of Keens , and I will continue to buy their products!

Falling apart after 1 month
I've only had these boots a little over a month, and the rubber flex at the foot bend has totally come apart from the shoe. The rubber has also chipped and left holes on top of that. The cushion of these boots is also way less than the last model of Keens I bought. Very disappointed in the quality.

Great boots!
I got these boots for our trip to the smoky mountains. We logged 26 miles of hiking over the course of 4 days. These boots held up amazing and were so sturdy and supportive. Walking across jagged rocks and uneven terrain was not an issue at all in these. They were so supportive. I was able to walk across small creeks without worry of getting my shoes wet since they were waterproof. These boots were a game changer for me. I can’t imagine hiking in my gym shoes anymore after getting these! I normally wear a 7.5-8 and ordered the 8. Great fit.

super wide
before buying them, I checked comments about how wide the boots were. They all indicated it was normal. So I ordered them. They are BEAUTIFUL and would be comfortable if they were not HUGELY WIDE. Way too wide. I measure the sole with other KEEN I have and they were size 11, my size. So I could not understand why these were so hugely wide. I thought that maybe I needed 10.5 for this model. However, the 10.5 were too short in length. The wide was normal. This made me think of two reasons for the hugely wide size 11 I received.1- somebody with really wide feet tried on for a while and widen them.2- they were a counterfeit.I bet that any other size 11 pair is normally wide. I was not lucky with these ones. If I had known that something like this could happened, I should have ordered 2 and return one because they are beautiful... but my trip is in a couple of days so no time to try again :o/

Not for narrow feet...
My feet are on the narrow side, but usually a medium width fits me ...unfortunately these are just too wide, which saddens me because they're a nice looking hiking boot.

Nice boot
My last Keen boot were the NXIS explorer which were amazing but after a hard year they’re having being demoted to back up. Always liked the look of these so purchased when at a bargain less than half price. Ordered my usual half size up in Keen but no need as the flex provides more room. I use for dog walking for 2-3 hour hikes across all terrain and they’re perfect. Getting used to them very comfy just needed half size down but won’t be an issue with winter socks. 😊
