Great Gravy, Recipe Ideas, Inspirations Merry Christmas
The best turkey gravy from a packet ever! (Tip! Use Sanson's Unsalted Chicken Stock instead if water) While good on it's own, there is a savory turkey gravy recipe on the back that requires a few ingredients! And no Turkey drippings...we deep fry our turkey so we don't have them. I have made it and I can tell you that it is excellent! I'll never worry about Turkey gravy again! On the back of the BTG Chicken Mix, there is a recipe for chicken noodle casserole that is easily tweaked for your family's tastes. It's pretty darn good! This turkey gravy would just as easily make a turkey noodle casserole as well, to use up those leftovers. I plan to try that this Christmas. A Turkey noodle casserole, with a left over home made dressing crust, if there is any dressing left over! In both casseroles the meat is fully cooked, the noodles are almost cooked and it is baked for a short time. If you do use leftover stuffing, make sure that you heat it to at least 165 degrees F. Everything else in the casserole is fully cooked. You can heat the casserole, sans topping if very cold for a bit and then remove and apply crust. While the stuffing can be liberally applied (up to 1 inch perhaps), you don't want it to get to hard and burn. You also want the entire dish heated through, so judge when you need to pull the dish from the oven, apply the topping and back into the oven. You can also use a bit of unsalted butter to keep the crust soft, but not too much. No stuffing? Use the leftover mashed potatoes (again judgement on cooking times). You'll also want to use some unsalted butter and maybe a splash of milk, half/half or heavy cream. Good luck! This is great gravy, better then anything in a jar!See my review on BTG Chicken Gravy for more tips!

Really Good Gravy
Bought the last 2 packets of this stuff at my local supermarket, they said they were not getting more turkey (but still had chicken and beef in stock). So I bought 12 packs from Amazon so I don't run out. It's got real turkey juice in it so it taste wonderful and unlike the bottled gravies, it doesn't expire (doesn't take up a lot of room in the cupboard either and you just have to add water). Now I just have to rein myself in from making gravy all the time to eat with potatoes (of any type), bread, biscuits, etc. I don't ever cook a whole turkey, only turkey parts, so I seldom get enough turkey juice for gravy so this is really nice to have available.

it is fantastic. Of course
If you're using it for rotisserie chicken, or any poultry that is not producing natural gravy, it is fantastic. Of course, it's not as good as real gravy, but it is very tasty and so much better tasting than canned or jarred gravy. We love the beef flavor as well. I recommend it highly.

They are great. Don't buy the 1 oz
Make sure you get these 1 and 1/4 oz.packs. They are great. Don't buy the 1 oz. organic which are bad.

Yes it is better than gravy.
It is better than Gravy. The taste is so natural, and it's easy to make. Which I could find it locally.
