Hikin Japanese Rubber Drain Protector Hair Catcher Drain Cover (white)

I used it twice and both times it clogged up my shower. I had a pool of water around my ankles by the time I was done with my bath. Didn't seem to catch too much hair as well with most of it appearing to be caught around the sides and cleaning was too much of a hassle. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for an effective drain protector.

this product doesn't work in my shower. The floor has many small tiles with gaps between them, so the suction cups on this product don't stick leaving it pretty much useless. Would work well on completely flat surface like concrete or large tiles.

Looks great and material feels sturdy. Suction slides a little bit, but nothing terrible.

this is actually pretty good. it catches all the hair on my tub.

It's to small and doesn't stay in place in shower.

I'd give this one 4 1/4 stars if I could.It works great as long as you use it in a tub or shower where you don't have a protruding drain stopper, and you don't have textured surface too close to the drain. Without those conditions it works well. It does of course slow down the draining process a bit, but hey, the hair would do that too eventually right?! I was tired of having to clean out my daughters shower drain all the time, so I'm really glad I bought this one.Just know that it will not work well, over textured surface tops. But I imagine that's probably true of all suction cup type drain protectors.**I purchased this at a discount, in exchange for my promise to provide my 100% honest and impartial review, which I promise I am giving here. Stops things from going down drain and looks nice. Because my home is older, I think the drain size is smaller so this doesn't get a good fit for the inside diameter notches to hold in place (moves when water hits it). But overall very happy with purchase.
