Q: I’m confused with pierre reply from nicks who stated that it’s not keto while 5.6g net is very keto friendly. can someone or pierre reconfirm? thanks

True, these bars has low net carbs (5.6g). And when following a keto diet, the way to be kicked out of ketosis is by consuming too many carbohydrates. Meaning, the number of carbs someone consumes is the most crucial factor. However the reason for my previous answer, is our own "definition" of what Keto is for us (as there is no accepted world wide definition yet really). Basically this is how I would try to plan my day-to-day food consumption. - Approx. 70% of energy should come from fat. ( Preferably more) --> You can calculate that by taking the number of grams of fat per ex. 100g and multiply by 9. Then divide this product by the total number of kcal per 100g. If the ratio is greater than 0.7, it is ok. - Max 5 energy% net carbohydrates. - Approx. 25% energy protein. Looking on these protein wafers as a stand alone, it will have a bit to much energy from net bars, but as we eat other stuff during the day it will be fine. Best Regards, Pierre @ NICKS
