The directions saying to take one capsule at each meal indicated to me that this supplement is short acting and needed to be replenished often to work, but after taking them for about a week I can say that that is not the way i this supplement works. These directions are also similar, I thought, as with digestive enzymes in that they are short acting and need to be replenished at each meal. What actually happened, or is happening, is that this supplement takes awhile to begin working, and the annoyance of timing the product with each meal is not necessary. They are also not a problem for my stomach, so I don't understand the directions as far as needing to space out each capsule to curb a sugar craving. I take two in the A.M., and one in the evening.What happened is that after several days a slowly increasing feeling that I did not want to make the effort to prepare an apple for eating began to develop. I need to slice each apple into small pieces. As I have been addicted to eating about 3 pounds of apples every single day for years and could not really quit them or reduce the number of apples I ate, I was pleasantly surprised that I now eat fewer apples without effort. Sounds strange, this apple problem, but the frutose in each apple quickly adds up. They are my main source of sugar. I had almost given up reducing the apples I ate. Only been taking these for about 10 days, so their good effect may increase still. I think it is also affecting the number of carrots I eat, as they are high in sugar, too. I buy whole foods mostly, so added sugar does not exist in my house to any great exten. I eat kiwis and now eat fewer. Very sweet, they are. So happy I found this product. It is so effective that I may have to take only two capsules per day. I will update this review in a few weeks.

Vitamin Shoppe ran of stock and I needed a replacement. I am pleased with the purchase and it actually controls my blood sugar, at least for me and my personal experience.

Maybe I'm using it wrong but..I tried it. Didn't do much for me unfortunately.

Good product

I heard about this on yet another lengthy internet search to lose weight after medications made me gain 100lbs. My doctor was fully aware I wouldnt be able to lose weight, yet wouldnt change my prescriptions. Gave this a shot. I started with 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, now I take 2 and 2. On days I overeat, I dont gain anything but I dont lose anything either. Days I eat smart, listen to genuine hunger with stomach rumbles, I lose 1lb-2lbs over night. Dont believe it fine dont buy it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I tried way too many supplements before even the fad "keto" ones "clinically proven" and had nothing to show. These work for me, Im down 110lbs now, and Ive been buying them for 2 years with no plan to stop.
