The Americana Collection depicting the old western community of Liberty Falls is sculpted and mastercrafted of the finest materials, then individually hand-painted. This painstaking creative process highlights all the architectural details and heartwarming, homey touches that make Liberty Falls everyone's favorite frontier town. What a cozy little house was "Pastor George Kendell's Parsonage." one of the most modest structures in Liberty Falls but considered the ideal home by Pastor Kendell and his wife Marjorie. All through the Pastor's early years in college and seminary, he and Marjorie had lived in "cold water flats" with very little room and even less privacy. They imagined that things would remain pretty much the same when George got his first church assignment, assuming that it would be in a big city like New York or Philadelphia. But imagine their surprise when they were called to a brand-new church in Liberty Falls, Colorado--complete with a cute little cottage they could call their own! The local parishioners were delighted with their new Pastor and his lovely young wife, and they couldn't have been more pleased with how the Kendells "took to" the parsonage they were provided. Marjorie planted flowers and shrubs, and George built a gate with an arbor for climbing roses. The Kendells even added a bird bath to their yard, and placed a garden bench on the lawn so that they could enjoy the view. A year or so after they arrived in Liberty Falls, the couple welcomed their first child -- a boy. They were truly the picture of "domestic tranquillity." Liberty Falls style!
