fantastic purchase, very durable

This scooter has been a fantastic purchase for my 6-year-old! Not only does it provide a fun mode of transportation, but it also gives me peace of mind knowing that it is safe for my child to use. Likes: The color options. It's not just pink, blue, red, or black. My son's favorite color is yellow and I was able to get him this. Light up wheels Easy to assemble. Dislikes: It doesn't fold down, you have to disassemble it every time you want to wheel it away by hand. You take the handlebar part off and click it onto the underside of the base. It clicks in, but there's still a litt bit of a wiggle. It's hard to get the handlebar part off. It took me pulling and my 10-year-old holding down the buttons to get it off. The whole process mentioned in the dislikes is the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. I still recommend it, though.

This scooter is adjustable allowing the scooter to grow with your kid. We purchased this scooter from Amazon because Target had the same one but almost double the price. The color of the scooter we purchased was an exact match to what is pictured. The handles are soft and I like the extra little bit on the end if it goes down it won't get too banged up. My kids use this with ease and the brake works really well.

I’m not sure if this is a defect on the specific item I received or an overall design defect. My daughter loves the scooter but it was quite noticeable how easily the handle bar comes off when you slightly lift the handles. You would think that there is a locking mechanism that would prevent this from happening. I hope there is an option for Amazon to just replace the item with a new unit.
