I was looking for device to chop my garlic. I do not like the garlic press because it is hard to clean, I need to apply strong force. I eliminated the garlic chopper machine because of clean up.This is compact and easy to clean. I chopped 3 garlic gloves within 30 seconds. It is not finely chopped but does the job for many dishes. I lost some juice, and some got stuck in the hole.Overall, I like it because it is easy to use and clean.

I LOVE this kitchen tool! I cook with garlic at least once a day (it is delicious and also strengthens the immune system---so important in this season of such high health risk). This way of breaking up garlic cloves for cooking is new to me, and I just LOVE it. This item works perfectly and easily and leaves NO garlic out of my dishes. It is effortless to use and effortless to clean. One heads up; a couple of the filter holes will keep their mashed garlic in them after each use. It then needs a quick poke with a sharp knife---well worth the effort for garlic piece-letts that are just right for flavoring rich delicious food. I will be reluctant to ever return to a conventional press.

I am really enjoying the garlic press--it is quick and simple, works well, small to store, dishwasher safe. Not a thing I don't like about it.The "peeler", on the other hand, although it certainly works, smells VERY strongly and objectionably of some kind of chemical. After multiple trips through the dishwasher there is no improvement, sadly. To me, it does not even appear to be made of silicone. It is going into the trash but I'll look for another one of the same design but actually silicone. The peeler is a good concept but poor material. So don't worry if you didn't get your "free gift". It smells awful!

How have i lived without the silicone sleeve? Garlic rocker press works great, easy clean up.

I love simple, sturdy and effective tools; this is a shining example in two of those categories. Doesn't get any simpler or more sturdy than this. Easy to clean and use.The dealbreaker for me is that the holes are immense compared to a standard garlic press. If they were maybe a quarter of the size, this would be perfect. As it is, it's essentially useless to me. If you like a very rough dice on your garlic though, this may be just the tool for you.
