Lokar TD-34L60EFM Hi-Tech Firewall Mount Transmission Dipstick for GM 4L60E Transmission

Installed on my 96 Impala SS due to the OE dipstick tube being cracked. A factory steel tube will run close to 70 dollars whre as this was just over 100. If you installed headers and your OE tube will no longer fit or seat correctly just save yourself the time and hassle of trying to bend that tube to the right angle. It will never seat right once you do bend it. This is perfect for getting around headers and mounts easily to your fire wall. The tube is braided stainless and it does come with the rubber boot that snugs into the transmission. Also comes with a mini funnel adapter, a snall engine funnel is the perfect size to fit that funnel adapter. Also please fill the transmission fluid slowly... all in all its a great product. Last thing, the fluid level is easy to ready. Some people say its impossible to read but this is mot the case.

This item worked out perfectly for my 4L60E GM transmission. There are some cheap knock offs that sell here on Amazon for 20-40 bucks. Dont waste your time with them. They have plastic dipstick tubes that will melt off when your oil gets hot. These Lokar products are all metal products that drop right in perfectly.Highly recommend this product for and vehicles with 4L60E transmissions or LS swaps.

Was a day early and fit just in my s10 project

I was unable to get my stock dipstick tube back in after dropping the trans and decided to go this route. It fit perfect. Just make sure the flat side is towards the transmission. I lubed the o rings and applied silicone per directions and no leaks. I put this on a 99 trans am. It sits right under the cowl.
