I got this first gen Apple Pencil sleeve for my kid. My kid, being a kid, will drop his pencil quite often, or accidentally have the pencil go flying across the table onto the floor! The sleeve has prevented damage to his Apple Pencil, and the sleeve adds a tiny bit of thickness to the pencil so it makes it easier for my child to hold. The sleeve feels like silicone, so it is not slippery - a good thing if you have an Apple Pencil for your kid. The top of the sleeve also is a cap holder, and it works very well! I also did not have any issues shoving the pencil into the sleeve, and charging the pencil is just as easy too.

It is a very nice sleeve. Smooth to the touch. It gives you a firm hold. The only inconvenience is that it doesn't fit in the Ipad case I bought and I think it won't fit in any other case since the slot for the pen is usually made for a snug fit so the pen doesn't fall. It seems to be a durable product. Once you put the sleeve on it's not easy to take it off.

I am happy with this purchase. I like that it has the cover for the cap, which will definitely help me not to lose it. I also LOVE the leash for the charger piece! I didn't realize that it was included, and it is so cool! I do wish it would be a little more secure on the cord, but as long as I am careful it stays on. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it slips on the pencil easily. It is a good fit, but I often find myself having to slide the cover back to the proper place. Also, the nib covers do not stay on, but I dont use them anyway so that's not a huge deal.

I like the feel of the cover, and I like how thick it feels in my arthritic hand. It gives the pencil a better balance in my hand so a lot less fatigue. The pen tip works smoothly and silently, very responsive. Because it has a slight ergonomic shape to it, it doesn't get lost or roll away so easy. The cap holds very nice and makes charging and connecting super easy. I’m learning how to use it on an iPad, so if it goes to crap I’ll come back to update this review. I will be using it to practice calligraphy, writing notes and blog posts, research and teaching zoom classes as a whiteboard.

It is a nice cover for the pen and tip but now the pen doesn't fit in my ipad case at all!!

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice product and is exactly as advertised. I ended up returning mine because when this grip is on the pencil is too thick to fit inside my iPad case. But if you have a different kind of case you’re probably fine.

it’s not that i don’t like it, i must’ve read it wrong & wasn’t what i wanted or needed. What i didn’t like was i wanted to cancel or return it I couldn’t so now im stuck with it
