Invigorating bath and body scrubber.
Have owned many back scrubbers but this one wins the best in show! This lumberjack sized scrub brush works surprisingly well as a bath and body brush. Yes it is huge for a woman to hold but worth the extra labor to get an excellent back scrubbing! It also works well for legs and lower body as for an easy reach with the long handle. I suggest that you periodically clean both bristles and handle with Clorox bleach, or hydrogen peroxide for optimum cleanliness. After each use be sure to give it a thorough rinse, and a good shake, the lay on a dry towel with bristles downward to promote drying. Due to the size and depth of this brush hanging the brush will not drain bristles as effectively. Eventually you may want to trim down the bristles as they soften/wear.

Most Awesome Multi-Purpose Brush EVER!
I have been buying this brush for years and I can't stress how FANTASTIC it is. I have several of these - one for cleaning indoors, one for cleaning outdoors, and one for a shower brush. It isn't meant to be a shower brush but if you have a really dry, itchy back like I do and have tried lots of different shower brushes that never seem to really scrub your back, you would use it, too. Any kind of gunky cleaning you have to do it scrubs it off easily - I use them to clean showers, picnic coolers, anything sturdy I don't worry about scratching. And for the price you should buy a bunch like I do. This is one of those hidden jewels that everyone wishes they could find - well, here it is!

handy dandy versitle brush
Good scrub brushes are hard to find, especially ones at a good price. It seems all I could find were the cheapo plastic ones or the outrageously priced ones at the hardware or janitorial suppy stores. Then I decided to try Amazon and found this great brush. Like many, I didn't really visualize the length of the handle on this brush when I ordered it. It's LONG! But thats a plus in my book. You can trim a wood handle down to any length you need, but you can't make it longer so the length on this makes it customizable. The bristles are the good old fashioned natural fiber kind, another plus. Natural fiber means I can purpose this brush for a variety of cleaning needs but it also means that I can also designate it as a bath brush or for some of my art projects, too. Oh, decisions decisions, guess Ill have to order a few more so I can have one for each purpose I need. In the meantime, this brush is just perfect for cleaning my floors. It gets the grout clean and the long handle is good for scrubbing out nooks and crevices between furnishings and the wall. It washes out well and the wood lends itself to pain and or wood burning so I can label the brush to specific uses without having the label bleed or wash off. I plan to order a few more of this great brush.

Great for cleaning an elephant's tusks ~ Also works on other items
When I purchased this, I had no idea that it was so immense. I have no one to blame but myself, as I should have read the description more carefully. With that said, if you have any elephant's living near you, this would be the ideal brush for cleaning their tusks. I purchased it to clean off some residual white lithium grease that I had sprayed on a pair of chaise lounge chairs last fall. I originally started cleaning the grease off with a toothbrush, but needed something that was a little bigger. Well, this is certainly bigger. It appears to be a very well made brush and the bristles are flexible enough so as not to scratch the surface that you're using it on. I'm sure it will work perfectly on my lounge chairs, and most certainly will do the job in a lot quicker fashion than a toothbrush. The bottom line is that this is a quality brush. Just keep in mind that the brush-head is quite large and the handle is long. I'm actually quite delighted that this item is larger than I expected as I'll be able to use it on a large variety of items that I have around my house. I'll also be on the lookout for elephants.

Loved the brush however the wood split into several dangerous knife like pieces.
I used the brush twice and on the second use this splitting happened making the brush unsafe to use again. I dried it between use so it wasn't soaking in water. I realize that wood is and imperfect substance and will split. I wish I could communicate with Weiler to get a replacement as the utility of this design is great for cleaning bikes, which was my primary use. Next time I would seal the wood before use.

Perfect Bath Brush
I wanted a plastic-free Brush to keep in the shower for my back. There’s one on MÛR Lifestyle that’s gorgeous, but it’s $30 & made with animal hair as bristles which is a no-no for my vegan lifestyle. I looked around on Amazon and just so happened to stumble across this one. I honestly didn’t have high hopes for it, but when it arrived I was surprised by the quality. Note - the wood is unfinished so you’ll need to coat it before you put it in the shower to help it last without splitting. I coated it in a thick layer of coconut oil, tied some twine through the hole, and hung it in the shower. When I got in this morning the handle was much nicer and less rough, not greasy at all. It smells a little weird he first time you get the bristles wet, but I assume it’ll take on the smell of our soap soon enough. Overall I’m very pleased with this, especially for the price!

This is the perfect shower/bath brush as the handle will allow the tallest ...
This is the perfect shower/bath brush as the handle will allow the tallest of people to reach their back and feet easily. the bristles are a bit firm but soft enough and will defoliate. Much better than a lofa and those other products for bathing with. you want to hang it to dry or lay it over the faucets so it can drain and dry it is wood and I am wondering if treating it with a little oil will keep it from splitting. the bristles are natural and they absorb water and mold could grow so you want it to dry for that, but then at this price easy to replace. . If you are a real he man and like a good stiff scrub then the Rubbermaid Pro Plus FGX233PR04 with vinyl bristles may be more to your liking as they are stiffer but not as stiff as most of the yellow bristled brushes. I now have a nice collection of brushes trying to find the right one after my favorite brush was chewed up by my Great Dane.

Good brush, decent handle length.
Got this to scrub my bathroom tiles due to the long handle cause I can't reach the top. Worked fab, solid brush.

Great brush, bigger than expected. Turns black though.
I got this for dishes. Oops. it's huge. So I tried it in the shower. Its awesome. Nice firm bristles I can use everywhere except my face. The only unfortunate thing is that if any water sits on it overnight it turns black. So it must be hung somewhere with good air circulation.

Great when new
I use this as a shower brush. Unfortunately, the wood has no protection and it starts to go black from moisture and soap quickly. Works great when new. I just worry about the impending mold.
